JOB OVERVIEW
Our client operates successfully its business in the B2B field for more than 20 years. The Buyer will be responsible for the research, evaluation and purchasing various products and the relevant follow up. The position calls for maintaining very good relationship with partners and suppliers therefore excellent communication and decision-making skills are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Being in charge of correspondence and negotiations with the suppliers of the company;
- Preparing analyses, comparing price conditions of alternative suppliers from all over around the world;
- Responsible for supply planning, defining quantities and stockpiling;
- Controlling the delivery to the logistics centers of the company;
- Analyzing sales and deliveries in order to avoid “out of stock”;
- Monitoring price changes on the market;
- Researching and analyzing market trends to increase profitability and competitive price level.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Educational background in Economics;
- Experience (exact or similar position);
- Fluency in Written and Spoken English;
- Profound knowledge in Ms Office, especially with Excel;
- Analytical and negotiating skills.
